I recently experienced an Intracranial Hematoma, which was a scary and challenging situation to deal with. It started with a sudden and severe headache, followed by nausea and vomiting, and then I started feeling confused and disoriented. I was rushed to the Quironsalud Hospital Madrid, where I underwent a CT scan that showed bleeding in my brain. The doctors quickly diagnosed me with an Intracranial Hematoma and took me into surgery to remove the clot. The procedure was successful, and I am grateful to the skilled medical team that saved my life. The recovery process was not easy, as I had to spend some time in the ICU and then in a rehabilitation center to regain my strength and mobility. I also had to take medication to prevent seizures and manage my pain. Now, several months after the incident, I am still dealing with some residual symptoms, such as headaches and memory problems. However, I am slowly but surely regaining my independence and returning to my normal activities.

I was admitted to Valencia Hospital in March. Dr. Lozano was my physician, from the minute, I met him. I knew that I was going to receive great care. I was diagnosed with an AVM a few months ago, and it was quite scary to learn about this condition. However, I am very grateful to have been able to receive proper treatment and care from my doctors at Quironsalud Hospital Valencia. Initially, I did not know much about AVMs and was concerned about what the diagnosis would mean for my health. My doctors did a great job explaining the condition to me and the treatment options available. They recommended that I undergo embolization followed by surgery to remove the AVM. The procedure itself was not too difficult, and I was able to return home the next day. The recovery process was a bit more challenging, but my medical team gave me great support and care. They made sure that I was comfortable and provided me with all the necessary information. Now that I have fully recovered, I feel grateful for the care I received and the successful treatment. The procedure was performed under local anesthesia, and I could go home the next day. I experienced some headaches and fatigue for a few days, but overall, it was smooth. I am grateful to the center and doctors for saving my vision!! At home, doctors said that there was no chance of saving vision, the tumor was rare and rarely occurs in adults. Proton therapy helped, almost all of the tumor was gone, and additional chemotherapy was given. The center’s oncologists say they sought help in time. a little more and blindness would have occurred. The treatment was quick and comfortable. I expected the worst and was worried about the language barrier. Translators are always nearby, they translate everything, they all help.

There was a danger of affecting important areas. this center was like the last hope... I had never even heard of proton therapy. I expected terrible side effects, I read various things on the Internet, and I was worried. after the treatment sessions I felt weak, tired, a little dizzy, but overall I felt normal... I thought maybe it wasn’t working. imagine my surprise when the control MRI showed that the tumor was gone... and there was no need to even do chemotherapy... God bless the doctors!!!
