I was getting late for my meeting and in a hurry, I fell on the office floor which had just been cleaned. The janitor came over to help me get up. But I couldn't. I felt a sharp pain in my hip joint. The office staff called an ambulance and I was taken to Quironsalud Barcelona Hospital. My case was handed over to Dr. Ramon. He performed a detailed diagnosis and told me that I had a fractured hip joint. He suggested that hip joint replacement was the best option given the severity of the injury. I recently experienced an Intracranial Hematoma, which was a scary and challenging situation to deal with. It started with a sudden and severe headache, followed by nausea and vomiting, and then I started feeling confused and disoriented. I was rushed to the Quironsalud Hospital Madrid, where I underwent a CT scan that showed bleeding in my brain. The doctors quickly diagnosed me with an Intracranial Hematoma and took me into surgery to remove the clot. The procedure was successful, and I am grateful to the skilled medical team that saved my life. The recovery process was not easy, as I had to spend some time in the ICU and then in a rehabilitation center to regain my strength and mobility. I also had to take medication to prevent seizures and manage my pain. Now, several months after the incident, I am still dealing with some residual symptoms, such as headaches and memory problems. They also helped with my appointment. I went to the clinic and met the doctor. He was very kind and asked me about my requirements. After discussion, he performed a few tests to determine whether I was an eligible candidate for the procedure or not. After performing tests, he asked me whether I wanted implants or surgery. I was not aware of both techniques, so he guided me about both techniques in detail. After discussion, I decided to have surgery so that the results could be long-lasting. He performed the procedure in a safe environment and shifted me to another room soon after the procedure. He kept me under observation for three days, and then I got discharged. He advised me not to perform any physical activity for at least a month for quick recovery. I followed all his recommendations and went for my checkup after a month. I was satisfied with the results, and I would recommend Dr. Murat to everyone.

Worst customer service ever! I sent an online appointment request for a checkup at the American hospital and got a phone response after some days that I have to get an expat package since I recently moved out of the country. It was of course much pricier and in hard currency but fine. I sent the details of the checkup program I would like to have, and got an email from Melis Bokorna two weeks later that all is booked and I would receive another email with all details closer to the appointment. Sure enough the confirmation email never arrived. I kept sending email reminders to Melis with no answer, also calling the phone number she provided, but the line was dropping immediately. I called customer service and tried to get through that way, but after a long hold, no one would pick the line and I get disconnected. It was extremely annoying that I had to travel to another country, go the American hospital not even knowing if my appointments are set or not! Of course they were not, and the girls at the checkup department were incredibly rude and insensitive to the situation I'm in. They said they can't offer me any appointment that day or any other day that week (even without looking at their schedules). I asked them to talk to Melis. Funny enough her phone number did not work for them either and line was dropping immediately. They had to go through other internal extensions and ask for her. She said she booked my appointment at Koc Hospital (part of the same group but very far away, almost two hours by cap from city center!!). I talked to staff at "patients complaints" and showed her that my original request was directed to the American Hospital in Nisantasi, not Koc. Her answer was that there must have been a mix up when the call center forwarded your request! And so I did not get the service that I needed, instead lots of frustration and time wasted. Not to mention that the staff who behaved that way, specially miss. Melis Bokorna who does not like to read her emails, lost the hospital a highly priced expat package.
