Rip off place!!! Not professional staff! Bad customer service! The doctor didn’t know how to treat my problem… asked to wait outside… after googling (my guess), I was called back and told that I need antibiotics…was told to ask another doctor (infectionist) tomorrow which antibiotics are better to take… I asked for blood test to check if I got infection. The doctor told me the price of the blood test will be 17100 batt which equal 500 USD dollars and results will be ready in 15 days because they need to send my blood to Bangkok!!! I checked how much this test cost in Europe in fancy private laboratory ( hospital would be cheaper) - price is equal to 20 USD dollars, results will be

ready in 2 days!! I asked how much for a consultation. The reception desk and registration desk didn’t know the price of doctor consultation. It turned out that the doctor will decide by herself/himself how much she/he wanted to charge! Then after consultation they told me consultation 1500 batt (taking into consideration that the doctor didn’t have knowledge about my case). They told me to pay 3 000 bat instead. It turned out they put 2000 for consultation instead of 1500 and the rest amount was nurse fee charge, and extra charge because consultation after 6pm. Medicine that I asked consultation doctor to prescribe me to release my symptoms was billed 10 times more expensive than in outside pharmacies charge! I left hospital with confused thoughts… stressed about where to get a professional medical help in Phuket if this hospital’s experience was like this…with thoughts to cut my Thai holidays and leave the country asap to get a professional medical help (I got symptoms of very dangerous infection which without proper treatment can lead to death)
