About the doctor

Dr. Esra Kaytan was born in Kocaeli, Turkey. She is a radiation oncology specialist at the Memorial Sisli Hospital. She is also performing duties as the President of the Turkish Society for Radiation Oncology. In addition to offering radiation therapy treatment to her patients, Dr. Kaytan carefully chalks out the nutritional plan for her patients to make the treatment procedure effective.

• Dr. Esra Kaytan completed her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University (1992)
• For her specialization degree in Radiation Oncology, she went to IU Oncology Institute
• Received the title of Assoc. Professor (2004)
• Dr. Esra got the title of Professor (2009)

• Dr. Esra Kaytan started her career as a Research Assistant at the Istanbul University (1992- 1996)
• Worked as a Specialist (Radiation Oncology) at the Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University (1996-2004)
• Promoted to the post of Assoc. Prof at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Istanbul University (2004-2009)
• Performed her duties as a Professor at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Istanbul University (2009-2011)
• Joined the Bezmialem Vakif University, and was appointed as the Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology (2012- 2013)
• Appointed as the Medical Director of the Oncology Institute, Istanbul University (2013 - 2015)
• Currently, Dr. Esra is the Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology, Memorial Sisli Hospital
