Hip pain was Atros. In Sweden's Västra Götaland region (VG), a queue has been going on for more than a year. The health guarantee applies after 3 months. Since I take blood thinners, the operation must be performed in a hospital with intensive care facilities. VG has not procured this. But if I can find a hospital that can operate on me and the prosthesis that VG approves, the insurance company will reimburse the operation, but I will have to pay for the travel costs myself. Since I spent much time in Nerja, I contacted HM International in Malaga. From the first contact to the operation, it took 2.5 weeks. By paying for the operation myself and afterwards sending the costs to the insurance company in Sweden, I now have a new hip joint and am very satisfied. The treatment at HM was very professional, and I always had access to a Swedish-speaking contact. Highly recommended.
A happy and pain-free 67-year-old young man from Gothenburg who will soon be back on the Padel court, more agile than in a long time.

My younger brother was diagnosed with sickle cell disease two years ago. It was a tough phase for our family. We consulted many physicians initially but were not satisfied. One day I contacted the coordinator at Clinics on Call and told them about my brother’s condition. They asked for his medical reports, and after discussion, they recommended visiting Fortis Memorial hospital. We went there, and the doctor checked my brother. He initially performed some basic tests, and after analyzing his condition, he suggested a bone marrow transplant. I had a follow up visit today with neurologist who RECOMMENDED MRI scan. A week ago she said 12,000 baht. But when I went in today and said ok, we better do the scan they wanted 24,000 baht. When I complained about the 100% increase from my last visit they took me to billing office. She offered it to me for 19,000. I asked why they appear to just make up a price based on person ( I know fri3nd with Thai wife who got a room doe 3000baht at a time they quoted me 30,000). And why it can change so drastically on a whim. At this point I was so pissed off and suspect they only ordered MRI because it's more expensive than ct scan. So I went back and asked for CT scan. This was 12,000baht but have tp wait 4 days for appointment. I may cancel and go to Pattaya International. Bangkok branch of hotels is know for price gouging but they had all my previous records.
