I had a follow up visit today with neurologist who RECOMMENDED MRI scan. A week ago she said 12,000 baht. But when I went in today and said ok, we better do the scan they wanted 24,000 baht. When I complained about the 100% increase from my last visit they took me to billing office. She offered it to me for 19,000. I asked why they appear to just make up a price based on person ( I know fri3nd with Thai wife who got a room doe 3000baht at a time they quoted me 30,000). And why it can change so drastically on a whim. At this point I was so pissed off and suspect they only ordered MRI because it's more expensive than ct scan. So I went back and asked for CT scan. This was 12,000baht but have tp wait 4 days for appointment. I may cancel and go to Pattaya International. Bangkok branch of hotels is know for price gouging but they had all my previous records. If I still feel unwell tomorrow will go other hospital

In short, they saved my life here. In Lithuania, I was diagnosed with a serious heart defect, but they gave me little chance. I started looking for a solution abroad, the coordinators recommended Severance, because the cardiac surgeons here are highly qualified. Professor Kim operated, the operation was successful and the recovery was faster than I expected. I came to the Severance Clinic from Tirana when I was diagnosed with liver cancer. The doctors in Albania said that surgery was impossible and that I needed to undergo long-term chemotherapy....but I wanted to find more modern treatment methods. Here I was quickly diagnosed, offered modern radiation therapy, and as a result, they were able to reduce the tumor and perform surgery!! After that, I needed to undergo targeted therapy. The doctors explained everything in detail that this was necessary to prevent relapse....I felt safe during the entire treatment!!
