My daughter was seven years old when we found out that she had thalassemia. We were extremely shocked to know about her disease as it was very dangerous as we heard from everywhere. Her initial reports showed that it was genetically acquired. We were extremely disappointed; however, a friend of mine suggested that I contact coordinators at Clinics On Call. I was not hopeful, but I contacted them one day. They asked about her medical reports and provided them with all the details. After a few hours, they recommended Dr. Rainer at University Hospital Dusseldorf. They arranged our appointment. We took our daughter to the clinic, and the doctor performed diagnostic tests. After thoroughly checking her reports, he suggested a bone marrow transplant as it was the only option with favorable results. The doctor made sure that the procedure was performed with great care and accuracy. The surgery went well due to Dr. Rainer's best approach. He kept her under observation, and after one week, she got discharged. She responded well to the treatment and was recovering slowly. Now its been two years, and she is doing fine. The team at Clinics On Call did an amazing job for us.

From April 2022 to October 2022, MRI appointments for epi patients with constant seizures became monthly!! postponed, a new date proposed by post to postpone it again and cancel it completely in October! Supposedly no free places!!! It's fun - to go to the hospital instead of university or to come to Erfurt from Brandenburg during the holidays to get the constant rejections! Well.. The last few months have been terrible for me due to my severe acid reflux. I tried to control my weight through different methods, but it did not work out. One day I visited Helios Hospital Erfurt for my checkup, and the surgeon suggested that I have bariatric surgery. He explained the procedure, and after discussion, I agreed to it. I was experiencing shortness of breath and fatigue. I dismissed these symptoms thinking that I had not worked out in a long which might a reason for that. But these symptoms became severe and I was taken to the hospital. After a series of tests the doctor told me that I had mitral valve stenosis. The doctor explained to me that the valve was unable to open fully due to which less blood moved from the atrium into the ventricle. Therefore I needed a mitral valve replacement. I was really worried after listening to the doctor. I discussed it with a colleague and he told me that one of his friend got his mitral valve replacement from Ludwig Maximillian Hospital and was satisfied with the treatment facilities. I visited Ludwig Hospital and got an appointment with a Cardiovascular Surgeon. The doctor assured me that the surgery was safe and I would be fine. The surgery went well and I feel great now.

I had a hard mass in my leg but I ignored it. After sometime I felt soreness in my muscles. So, I decided to visit a doctor. The examined me asked a few questions and told me to get a few tests done. I got a MRI and X-Ray done. Looking at my test results the doctor told me I had osteochondroma which is a benign tumor. He told me not to worry as it was isolated. The doctor monitored the tumor growth and a few months suggested that I should get a few sessions of chemo done. The treatment went fine and I feel my symptoms getting better.

I have always heard good reviews about Dr. Jens at Ludwig, and Maximilian, as a close friend of mine, had her treatment from him. Last year I had a severe stomachache and had no idea what to do to get rid of the problem. I was not sure about who to visit until my friend told me to have a consultation with Dr. Jens. I went to the clinic for my basic checkup, where he informed me that I had stage two stomach cancer. I was shocked to know, but he informed me that it could be cured as the cancer is in the initial stage. He suggested gastrectomy to eradicate tumors, and I agreed to it. The surgical procedure went smoothly, and I got discharged after a week of staying at the hospital. I took complete bed rest for a month upon Dr’s recommendation. I recovered faster than my expectations.

My youngest daughter was complaining of severe headaches a few months ago, I did not pay much heed to it considering it as normal. Having previously been told by a different doctor at a different clinic that my uterus had to come out (and that a large abdominal incision would be made. I was extremely devastated until Dr. Vesna Bjelic-Radisic performed a miracle.!
I'm so glad that dr. Vesna made the impossible possible and successfully operated on me.
She preserved my uterus completely. She was able to operate on me minimally invasively with modern instruments, and you can only see three tiny little holes, which will disappear completely as soon as it has completely healed. I am beyond thankful to her.
