I went to Chung-An university hospital for my routine check-up, and later I came to know that I had stage two stomach cancer. I was shocked because I was taking complete care of my health and was checking up on my reports. However, my doctor informed me that it was not dangerous as the tumors could be eradicated completely at that stage with minimally invasive surgery. The oncologist suggested gastrectomy for tumor removal. After two days, I had surgery, and they kept me in the hospital for a week to monitor my condition. The healing took time, and I was completely fine after a month and a half.

I have been living with a cavernoma of the brain for 7 years. At first, I was treated with drugs that relieve the symptoms. But lately, they have stopped helping. Two years ago, I had a hernia removed back in Russia, but back pain still bothered me. After moving to Korea, I decided to take up this issue. I turned to neuropathologists, and then to the spinal surgeon of the Severance clinic (on the recommendation of friends). It turned out that my disk had completely disintegrated and the only way out was to replace it. I do not argue that the operation cost a pretty penny, but after 3 months I already forgot about those terrible pains, it's worth it.
