I came to Acibadem Maslak from another country with severe back pain - a herniated disc had been tormenting me for years. I was offered endoscopic surgery (which was great, because I was terribly afraid of open surgery). After a couple of days, I was walking without pain, although I had barely moved before. I went to the cardiology department of Acibadem Maslak because of problems with blood pressure and arrhythmia. Overall, the impressions are excellent: the doctors immediately got down to business, did a bunch of tests, made a diagnosis and performed a radiofrequency ablation procedure. The only thing that was a little confusing was that I had to wait a little longer for the test results than promised, and this was a little unnerving. The doctors did some X-ray and told me that I needed a surgery done to help me with the fracture as the bone was dislocated. I underwent the surgery and it was successful. Two years ago, I moved to Turkey for my work commitments. One day I experienced severe stomach pain, and I went to Acibadem Taksim as it was near my apartment. The doctor diagnosed me with stomach polyps. Luckily they were in the initial stages, so the doctor suggested gastrectomy to treat the disease. I was not ready for surgery, but I took courage and had surgery. The procedure went smoothly. I did not experience any pain after this. I went to Medicana Avcılar for treatment of a knee injury. Overall, the experience was mixed. The clinic is modern, with good equipment. The doctors are generally competent. The hospital conditions are satisfactory. But there were some problems with the organization of the appointment, I had to wait a long time. Communication with some doctors was difficult, I did not always get complete answers to my questions. The postoperative period could have been better organized, there was a lack of attention to detail.
