I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Alper Toker and his team. When I was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer, I was terrified. I had so many questions and fears about surgery, recovery, and what the future would look like. But from the moment I met Dr. Toker, I knew I was in the best possible hands. He thoroughly explained my treatment options, and because my tumor was caught early, he recommended a minimally invasive Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) lobectomy instead of open surgery. He assured me that this approach would result in less pain, smaller incisions, and a much faster recovery time, and he was absolutely right! The surgery was a complete success, and I was up and walking the very next day. Within a week, I was feeling stronger than I ever expected. The scars are barely noticeable, and my breathing has improved significantly.

My experience with astrocytoma treatment at the Assuta clinic was mixed. On the one hand, the medical equipment and technology they had was modern, and I felt that I was in good hands in terms of the technical aspects of the treatment. However, I encountered problems communicating with some members of the medical staff. I felt that information about my condition or decisions about my treatment were sometimes not explained enough to me, which caused me additional stress. There were also moments when the organizational side (making appointments, waiting for test results) left much to be desired. Despite this, the treatment itself was successful and I am grateful for the level of professionalism of the doctors, especially during the operation. Overall, I'm pleased with the results, although the process was not without its challenges.

When I was diagnosed with rectal cancer, I was afraid that I would have to get a stoma. In Moldova, I was told that it would be impossible to do without removing part of the intestine. Through friends, I contacted the coordinators, and they helped organize a trip to the Medical Park Goztepe clinic. Here, oncologists offered an option with preserving the intestine and radiation therapy. I recovered quickly, and so did my bowel function. There was some discomfort, but it was bearable and passed quickly. The doctors were all attentive and calm. It was obvious that they were professionals. After discharge, my attending physician was in touch with me online, coordinating follow-up examinations. So far, everything is fine. I hope for long-term remission!

The doctor explained in detail the results of the ultrasound of the heart and coronary angiography, prescribed effective treatment.
