Educational Background

• Dr. Osman Uğur Çalpur graduated from Istanbul University. He also completed his specialization at the same institute in Orthopedics & traumatology.
• Dr. Osman started his research training in arthroscopic procedures.
• He also went to the USA for his fellowship training.

Professional Career

• Dr. Osman Uğur Çalpur started working professionally in 1992 and joined Isparta Orthopedic Institute. He gained experience and left the institute after a few months.
• Dr. Osman joined Trakya Institute and was appointed orthopedic surgeon. He also got a promotion due to his excellent work.
• He also served in a military hospital for a year and was appointed at Erzurum Institute, famous for military personnel. He offered orthopedic services to patients.
• Later on, he joined Eğirdir Orthopedic center and served there for a year. He performed many complex bone procedures with success.
• Dr. Osman also went to the USA and Germany for his fellowship training in scoliosis treatment. He joined a pediatric center and worked there as an intern orthopedic specialist.
• After serving there for two years, he returned to Turkey and rejoined Trakya Institute. He also provided research facilities to young students.
• In 2008, Dr. Osman joined Medical Park Göztepe Hospital as a senior orthopedic surgeon. He also served as an academic faculty member in the same institute. After serving there for three years, Dr. Osman left the institute.
• Later on, Dr. Osman joined Medicana Camlica Institute and served there for almost four years. Dr. Osman, along with some senior surgeons, performed the most complex techniques related to joint replacement.
• In 2014, he joined Medistate Hospital and is currently serving there as an orthopedic specialist.
