I was admitted to Valencia Hospital in March. Dr. Lozano was my physician, from the minute, I met him. I knew that I was going to receive great care. I was able to leave the hospital four days later with a diagnosis something that wasn’t done for me in the states. His diagnostic abilities are excellent.

I was diagnosed with an AVM a few months ago, and it was quite scary to learn about this condition. However, I am very grateful to have been able to receive proper treatment and care from my doctors at Quironsalud Hospital Valencia. Initially, I did not know much about AVMs and was concerned about what the diagnosis would mean for my health. My doctors did a great job explaining the condition to me and the treatment options available. They recommended that I undergo embolization followed by surgery to remove the AVM. The procedure itself was not too difficult, and I was able to return home the next day. The recovery process was a bit more challenging, but my medical team gave me great support and care. They made sure that I was comfortable and provided me with all the necessary information. Now that I have fully recovered, I feel grateful for the care I received and the successful treatment. I had been experiencing some mild headaches, but I never expected to be told that I had a bulge in the blood vessel in my brain. The medical team at Quironsalud Valencia was very reassuring, and they explained the condition to me in detail, which helped me understand what was happening. The treatment process was also smooth. I was offered two options: surgery or endovascular coiling. After careful consideration, I chose endovascular coiling. The procedure was performed under local anesthesia, and I could go home the next day. I experienced some headaches and fatigue for a few days, but overall, it was smooth. I had to take some time off work to rest, but after a week or so, I could resume my normal activities.

I had a terrible accident last year, and my spine got fractured. It was a very difficult period of my life as I was unable to move, walk and sit. I lost all hopes of recovery, but a family friend took me to Cologne hospital, where I met Dr. Roland. He performed some basic tests, and after that, he suggested having a discectomy for quick recovery. I was happy to know about the procedure and agreed to it. After three days, the doctor performed the procedure, and I stayed at the hospital for four days. I took complete bed rest for a month and saw progress in my health. My father was diagnosed with tonsil cancer. The treatment took place in a clinic in Seoul. There he underwent surgery, after which he was prescribed a course of radiation therapy. It took some time to recover. After his treatment, we walked around the city, enjoyed the beauty of Korea, and went home. There were no problems with the language, as we were able to order an interpreter service. Of course, our clinics are very far from Korean clinics.
