• 2006: Prof. Dr. Bahtiyar Demiralp received the best poster award on Comparison between the distraction and grafting methods in treating peripheral neural defects: an experimental study in rabbits.
• 2005: He was awarded the Best oral presentation award for High-dose neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with autologous stem cell transplantation and limb-sparing surgery in patients with non-metastatic osteosarcoma
