My husband’s health was deteriorating because of stomach cancer and the chances of his survival were decreasing day by day. We were in search of a good hospital for him with the latest medical technologies and proficient staff. We were recommended to the KUIMS hospital by a friend as he also got his cancer treatment from there. We went to the hospital and consulted Dr. Chang. She patiently listened to all of my husband’s symptoms and treatment responses. My husband’s treatment started right away after the diagnostics and there was an improvement in his condition. The spread of cancer slowed down at first and then the tumor started to shrink. Dr. Chang told us that it was a good sign and there is a fair chance of having control over it. With consistent chemotherapy with the combination of other treatment options, the final report of his PET scan was clear and there was no sign of cancer. This was a miracle for us and there was a huge contribution from Dr. Chang and her team who took care of him this whole time.

I had been suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome for a long time. The numbness and weakness of my hand made me depressed and anxious. I consulted many doctors but there was no permanent solution for it. I went to KUIMS hospital and consulted Dr. Ahn Jung who is a specialist in treating these kinds of diseases. He gave me the option of getting surgery. At first, I was afraid of getting under the knife and was worried about the consequences but Dr. Ahn told me that there was a fair chance of the permanent treatment of this disorder and the surgery would be done minimally invasively. I had trouble urinating so thought to get myself checked by the doctor. Dr. Gyun in KUIMS hospital was my doctor. After test results, I was diagnosed with the first stage of prostate cancer which was progressing rapidly. As I had cancer in my family history and many of my relatives lost their lives due to this disease painfully. I was very worried but luckily, Dr. Gyun calmed me and discussed all the treatment options. I wasn’t in favor of radiation so he gave me suggestions to get cryotherapy. The chances of cancer riddance were higher so I agreed. I was scheduled for surgery next week. The procedure took 2 hours and the results were great.

I could not even imagine that when I wanted to get my mole it would turn out to be cancer. It's good that I was on a long business trip in Korea. In general, after a series of tests, I was told that the neoplasm should be urgently removed. I agreed. I had cancer removed with the Mohs method. Everything went well, there are no scars as such. I went to Chung-An university hospital for my routine check-up, and later I came to know that I had stage two stomach cancer. I was shocked because I was taking complete care of my health and was checking up on my reports. However, my doctor informed me that it was not dangerous as the tumors could be eradicated completely at that stage with minimally invasive surgery. The oncologist suggested gastrectomy for tumor removal. After two days, I had surgery, and they kept me in the hospital for a week to monitor my condition. My grandmother had thyroid cancer. Our attending physician offered to go for treatment at the Anam clinic (Korea). There we came across Dr. Jung Kwan Yun. A good professional with a capital letter. Went to Inha Hospital for breast cancer treatment. I was told about the clinic by a friend who came here several years ago with the same problem. I had a lumpectomy and then a course of brachytherapy. I am glad that I turned in here because I managed to avoid breast removal.

My mother was a diabetic patient due to which her condition was getting affected. Last year she started complaining about blurred vision and severe headaches. We considered it as high blood pressure, but soon it became persistent. We took her to Inha university hospital, where an ophthalmologist diagnosed her with glaucoma. He suggested performing LASIK to treat the disease. We agreed immediately as it was the only solution to treat her condition. After surgery, she took complete bed rest for one month, and now she is doing fine and has no problem with vision.
